In a 20-gallon tank, plan on about 1–2 Multifasciatus, leaving room for tankmates and filtration headroom.
Why
Stocking is driven by adult size and waste output, not just fish count. Multifasciatus reaches about 2" with a light bioload, and needs 76–82°F water at pH 7.8–9. Always cycle the tank and test water before adding livestock.
