The Figure-8 Puffer (Dichotomyctere ocellatus) is a advanced-care, aggressive species from Southeast Asia (brackish). Adults reach roughly 3", so plan on a minimum tank of 15 gallons. Keep the water between 72–82°F with a pH of 7–8. It does not school and can be kept singly or in species-appropriate numbers. It tends to nip fins, so avoid slow, long-finned tankmates.
