🐡 Rubber Lip Pleco Chaetostoma formosae

The Rubber Lip Pleco (Chaetostoma formosae) is a easy-care, peaceful species from Colombia and Venezuela. Adults reach roughly 5", so plan on a minimum tank of 30 gallons. Keep the water between 70–78°F with a pH of 6.5–8. It does not school and can be kept singly or in species-appropriate numbers. As a herbivore, it does best on a varied diet appropriate to its feeding style.
